I think of the legal system as a table with many chairs. Each offers a different vantage point on the crucible of conflict. My over three decades in the law -- 4 years working for courts, 20 years as a commercial litigator, 10 years and counting as a full-time mediator/arbitrator, and even as a party to conflict myself -- have allowed me to absorb the view from each of those perspectives. To see the problem not just from one side, nor just from high above, but all the way through, and around.  I've now occupied the mediator's chair in over 3000 cases -- the seat of my true calling, and my highest and best use.  I have been recognized by the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN) for my mediation experience and expertise.
